Pumpkin Patch Cookies

Makes: 3-4 dozen cookies


Enjoy this delicious recipe for soft and chewy Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. These cookies were served at the Pumpkin Patch event and were a huge hit!



Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

  • 1 cup butter or margarine (at room temperature)

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3/4 granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line large baking sheet with partchment paper and set aside.


2. Using a mixer, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes. Slowly add in the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.


3. Scoop large, rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until cookies are just beginning to brown around the edges. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire cooking rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
