Volunteer with Us

Volunteers are the heart of The North Grove. Volunteers help to enhance and strengthen the programs we offer. Our volunteer program is also about building individual and collective capacity. Through our volunteer program we help individuals build their skills and confidence, as well as develop social connections and a sense of belonging in our community. Volunteers help us with program facilitation, food preparation, serving meals, clean-up, helping out on the farm, child development and more.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, all volunteer opportunities have been suspended until further notice.

SCREENING

All volunteers must complete a successful Child Abuse Registry Check before they can start volunteering.

Feel free to get started on this process as soon as possible, as it can take 2-3 weeks. The Child Abuse Registry check is free and is different than the Criminal Record check. Some positions may require additional screening.

With our in-person programming currently suspended we are turning to new ways of doing our work.
