Susan was hooked on The North Grove after attending its Annual Report to Community. She’s eager to be part of a vibrant community where people work together to make it even stronger.

Shaune became involved with North Grove because she admires the work so many are doing to support families and build community capacity. She finds The North Grove to be a remarkable, welcoming place and is pleased to be able to serve on our board.

The North Grove captured Beth’s heart when she was working as part of the construction team that brought the new space to life. She is inspired by the skills-based programs that focus on empowering community members and is excited to contribute to the growth and development of such an effective community hub.

​The power of volunteerism at the North Grove has inspired Joanne to be involved with the Community Food Centre programs. She feels grateful to be involved in this amazing community & serve on the Board to work together to continue building a thriving community. 

From the moment Poet stepped into The North Grove, she felt a welcoming spirit. That Monday dinner was only the beginning of understanding the essence of this space—holding space to support, uplift, and learn. She is in awe of its potential and looks forward to working with everyone. 

​Roz was attracted to the Board after hearing about all the great things happening at The North Grove and out of a desire to contribute to the vibrant community it supports.

Jill is proud to serve on the Board of The North Grove because its work reflects values that have guided her entire career: equity, belonging, and creating pathways to opportunity. Supporting an organization that empowers people and strengthens communities aligns deeply with her commitment to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed. 

​John sees The North Grove is a place where people are understood, respected, and supported as they grow. It is a community that puts judgement aside and creates space for people to feel welcome, build meaningful connections, and take part in programs and relationships in ways that reflect their own needs, strengths, and experiences.

Jim was invited to visit The North Grove and was immediately struck by the many ways the organization intersects with, and supports the community. He is looking forward to being part of those efforts.
