Susan was hooked on The North Grove after attending its Annual Report to Community. She’s eager to be part of a vibrant community where people work together to make it even stronger.

Shaune became involved with North Grove because she admires the work so many are doing to support families and build community capacity. She finds The North Grove to be a remarkable, welcoming place and is pleased to be able to serve on our board.

Idy is thrilled to be a part of The North Grove and to serve in a community that genuinely cares for its members, ensuring a welcoming environment for all, particularly for newcomers, and that places a strong emphasis on the well-being of each individual.

The North Grove captured Beth’s heart when she was working as part of the construction team that brought the new space to life. She is inspired by the skills-based programs that focus on empowering community members and is excited to contribute to the growth and development of such an effective community hub.

​The power of volunteerism at the North Grove has inspired Joanne to be involved with the Community Food Centre programs. She feels grateful to be involved in this amazing community & serve on the Board to work together to continue building a thriving community.

Kristine believes that if 'food is love', The North Grove is the heart of the city. She is honoured to serve on the Board and is proud of the all-encompassing approach to wellness at The North Grove. The seeds of health, nutrition, parenting and social needs are planted each day, and nourished by a force of community change-makers.

Erin believes that we all have an active role to play in ensuring our communities are inclusive, socially just, and vibrant. 

​Roz was attracted to the Board after hearing about all the great things happening at The North Grove and out of a desire to contribute to the vibrant community it supports. 

Jacqueline feels privileged to live in a diverse, vibrant community and believes The North Grove empowers our community by creating a safe, welcoming environment to make connections and support one another. Jacqueline is honoured to support such a dynamic and important community hub.
