Cook alongside Natasha and Sonja to make this family favourite; Hash Brown Casserole!
1 package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1/2 cup onions, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups cornflakes, crushed
additional 1/4 cup butter, melted
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
2. In a large bowl, combine hash browns, 1/2 cup of melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper.
3. Place mixture in a 3 quart casserole dish.
4. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, saute cornflakes in 1/4 cup of melted butter and sprinkle the mixture over the top of the casserole.
5. Cover casserole dish and bake for 40 min.
