Child Development
Sunshine Gang
(Children ages 3-5)

A summer camp, 3 mornings a week (2-week long session) for children 3-5 years old. Children enjoy outdoor play, fun activities and healthy snacks.
North Grove Campers
(Children ages 6-7)

The North Grove Campers is a summer camp, 3 mornings a week (3-week session) for children 6-7 years old. Children enjoy engaging in activities based on their interests, outdoor play and healthy snacks.
Child-Parent Interactive
Baby & Me
Children under 1 year and caregivers)

'Baby & Me' is an interactive program facilitated by our family centre team for caregivers & newborns to 1-year-old babies. You'll have the opportunity to meet others with young babies, play and enjoy a snack together.
Family Playgroup

Time to get together and play! This program will be taking place in our child development space or outdoors in the Discovery Garden.
Food and Families

If you need some one-on-one help to connect with support in the community, please call 902 464-8234 to make an appointment with our Community Action Coordinator.
Issues that community members often see us for include housing, accessing basic needs, physical and mental health supports, etc.
Drop-in Programming
Good Food Market
Every Friday from 10-11:30 a.m.
Come by our weekly Good Food Affordable market, where we have produce for sale at affordable prices. Our market is for those who cannot afford or are unable to shop at other grocery stores.
Community Lunch
Every Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Join us for a delicious and hearty lunch every Tuesday.
Family Supper
Every Monday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Join us for a delicious and hearty supper for families with school-aged children.
Drop-In Breakfast
Every Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Join us for buffet-style brunch every Wednesday morning.
Welcome Housing Drop-In
Every Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
If you are homeless or at risk of homelessness and need support, come chat with the Welcome Housing staff during our Breakfast Drop-in.
Café Drop-In
Every Thursday from 11-12 p.m.
Join us for coffee and a buffet-style breakfast. This is a great opportunity to sit down and meet people in the community!
Community Health Team
Wellness Navigator Drop-in
Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Once a month, a wellness navigator will be here during Breakfast Drop-in to help you identify your health needs and connect you to resources in the community. See our calendar to see when they will be in.
